A Little Info About Me

I have been shooting professionally since 1993. I got my first camera, a Kodak Brownie at the age of 8. My dad and mom were photographers with a full working professional lab, and I carry on with our family business to this day. They instilled in me the work ethic that I have today. I’m grateful for the international experience and to my mentors that have helped me fine-tune my skills to better serve my clients honestly and professionally. I also believe in giving back. I have charities that I believe in because they change society for the better. When people say that I have a passion for photography, I tend to stop them and tell them that passion comes and goes. Photography is my legacy to this world and I’m fully committed. I feel that this quote, from Richard Avedon, sums up how I feel about my career (not my job).

"I believe in maniacs. I believe in type A's. I believe that you've got to love your work so much that it is all you want to do. I believe you must betray your mistress for your work, you betray your wife for your work; I believe that she must betray you for her work. I believe that work is the one thing in the world that never betrays you, that lasts. If I were going to be a politician, if I were going to be a scientist, I would do it every day. I wouldn’t wait for Monday. I don't believe in weekends. If you're headed for a life that's only involved with making money and that you hope for satisfaction somewhere else; you’re headed for a lot of trouble. And whatever replaces vodka when you're 45 is what you're going to be doing." Richard Avedon

I love all the photographers and artist that follow this path.

Thank you for taking the time to look around. If I can be of any assistance please don’t hesitate to call or email.
